Hi! We're Phemian: Femke (PHE), Mirthe (ME), Anne (AN)

 

Three professional musicians and friends who met at the Utrecht Conservatoire and now play soulful folk-pop together. Our music is mostly inspired by nature and the beauty and complexities of life. Because we come from thee different musical backgrounds (“three different angels”) you can expect a variety of flavours in sound: influenced by americana, rock, jazz, classical music and blues, we write songs with close harmony vocals, cello, violin & ukulele.

We love singing close harmony and we sometimes use our instruments in different non-conventional ways, but most important of all: we have a lot of fun playing together and we will be doing it 'till we're old and wrinkly :)
